Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

Petal QR is run by James Massari, a sole trader based in Victoria, Australia (“we”, “us”). By creating an album or uploading to one, you agree to these terms. Please also read our privacy policy.

What Petal QR does

Petal QR gives a couple a web page and QR code where guests can upload photos and videos into a folder in the couple’s own Google Drive, with an optional album on the page.

Your account and your Drive

You sign in with a Google account and must be 18 or over. Uploads are stored in your Google Drive and count towards your Google storage; Google’s terms apply to that storage. If your Drive is full, uploads will stop until you free up space. You’re responsible for keeping access to your Google account.

Content

The couple is responsible for their album page and decides whether guests can see the album. Guests are responsible for what they upload and must have the right to share it. Don’t use Petal QR for anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and don’t try to disrupt the service.

We can suspend an album that breaks these terms or that we’re legally required to take down. Anyone can report a page using the link at the bottom of it.

Price, payment and refunds

Each album is a single payment, in the currency shown when you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can get a full refund from your dashboard any time before your first guest upload; once guests have uploaded, the service has been provided and change-of-mind refunds no longer apply. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including remedies if the service has a major failure.

Availability

We work to keep Petal QR running reliably, especially on wedding days, but can’t promise it will never be interrupted, and it relies on Google and other providers we don’t control. Because your files are saved in your own Drive as they arrive, an interruption to Petal QR doesn’t affect files already uploaded.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything relating to Petal QR is limited to the amount you paid us for the album concerned, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses. This doesn’t exclude any guarantee or right that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Petal QR and remove its access to your Google account at any time. Ask us and we’ll delete your account. Your files remain in your Drive.

General

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. If we change them we’ll update the date above; significant changes won’t apply to an album already paid for without your agreement. Questions: email info@petalqr.com or use our contact form.
